Well, if he is arguing specifically that the shutdown wouldn’t have caused any reduction at all, then he is an idiot, but doubt that is the case.

I still stand by my stance that our response was overblown and I was right that it wouldn’t be the 500,000 deaths people were touting on here.

Only by a little bit.

Also, if you go back and look, my main stance was that “panic” would be our biggest problem, and I definitely was right about that.

We panicked and we are starting to see the issues of that.
