I suspect the level of concern in the general public is less than not giving a shite.

I think I’ve had the Wuhan the past week. It’s been like a mild flu. Sore throat, congestion, chills, body aches. It sucks but nothing to shut the country down over.

Went through my office about a month ago. Nobody tested, we just assumed that's what it was. All survived.
I think still good to know if the flu or other illnesses are high?
You know, maybe help tamp down the whole office getting sick with anything.
Can definitely be done without going nuts

No mention of Toilet Paper?

WTH is a wastewater monitoring dashboard? And what does that have to do with CV19 cases?
They can tell by the poop water how much virus is present over time, basically.

Ok but when the body aches hit and you have an empty medicine cabinet at home don’t come crying to the OT.
You don’t have to be such a Weeweehead about it.

Coughing like he has TB, weak, dragging arse, pitiful. But won't go to the doctor. I am pretty sure he has covid.
Messing around with what could potentially be pneumonia. Smart. Masculine.
People who refuse to seek help when it's as simple as jumping on your computer and waiting five minutes, or going to one of a thousand walk in urgent care centers get no sympathy from me.

I tried to warn the wife of these rising cases to avoid us attending a wedding tomorrow…but it didn’t work.
If we get sick, it’ll be all her fault. The safe thing to do would be to stay home and drink beer in the pool to avoid the dire risk.

It's true that the latest strain is very contagious and the number of cases is rising. Ask me how I know. Paxlovid is good stuff, but it has side effects that can be kind of rough too.
I'd never had it before, but was basically like the flu until the Paxlovid kicked in.

Do they even have a vaxx for this variant?
Yuup.
Bourbon cure.
Take a highball glass, muddle some lemon, add some honey, microwave for :30.
Throw that shite away, and drink the bourbon neat.

Already have all of those. What I DON’T have is a Covid shot or it’s boosters nor will I get them. AND I work in a hospital. Religious exemption is a real thing lol!

I mean, the tests are $20. He could get something to get better pretty easily or he can continue to suffer and annoy TF out of everyone.

Well, my husband is going on 11 days of respiratory illness. Coughing like he has TB, weak, dragging arse, pitiful. But won't go to the doctor. I am pretty sure he has covid.
Just about any respiratory illness can lead to pneumonia. And that is nothing to place with. If he still refuses to go, at least get a pulse-ox meter and check his oxygen. He's going to feel stupid if he ends up in the hospital for something that was easily preventable. And you'll get a nice bill as well.
