Most things that occur at traffic stops are the police using pretextual information and them creating probable cause for escalating the stop. Glorified fishing expeditions where the police will ask confusing questions to the average, uninformed person and trample all over their rights while "just doing their job."
Policing in America is broken.

A fender bender all coked up and probably other drugs in him... what if he hit your family and hurt your kids or even killed them? Then, he gets caught, runs and resists arrest multiple times... play stupid games win bad prizes. If he complies he lives unless the coke kills him later
