Yelp review is down to 2.2 but when I just checked the following banner was across the top of the page:

This business is being monitored by Yelp's Support team for content related to media reports.

Im sure the bots will normalize there as well at some point.

The Moderate playbook the last 24 hours: - “both sides” are to blame. (100x+) - “well, he kind of deserved it” (15-20x) - “ironic considering his 2A comments” (10-15x) - Minnesota lawmaker whataboutism (10-15x) - and had several posters who attempted and are attempting to just completely derail threads hoping to make this disgusting act by the Left disappear.

Spot on.

you do understand why it’s difficult for anyone to believe this based on your post history over the last 24 hours. right?

I don't think it's difficult for everyone, but I do think it's difficult for some. That's on them, though. I can't help that someone thinks I'm a leftist because I disagree with them on one thing. You and I probably agree on a lot more than both of us would like to believe, but just because I espouse a belief that is opposed to your belief doesn't firmly put me in your opposition's camp. It simply means we disagree on this one thing.

If that one thing we disagree on is a non-starter for you, then so be it. Again, that's your problem.

I just think it's bullshite that conservatives are acting like they're the only ones being targeted. There is a war being fought by both sides, and body counts being lower on one side or the other don't give someone the moral high ground.

What a complete and utter pile of horseshite. You have to cherry-pick your right wing boogie men. Like the MN dude, who was all over the place with his beliefs. All the while your side is chopping dicks of kids, shooting up schools, shooting at presidents and sniping a peaceful dude sitting in a chair taking questions.

What an unbelievably stupid thing to say.

Sorry, but you can spin all you want. I have to question your motives based on what you posted and when you posted it. You don’t get to pull the moral-superiority card immediately after creating strawmans and whataboutisms hours after Charlie Kirk was assassinated. It’s gross and pathetic.

The killing yesterday is a valid comparison to the killings in Minnesota, in my opinion.

Trump hating crazies being the murderers is about the only comparable point.

I'm repeating myself as I feel obligated to respond because you are responding in a respectful way, but I don't see them as different. Just because Kirk was more famous doesn't change the fact that the people in Minnesota were assassinated for their beliefs.

And perhaps I’m not responding to you, but to the Zeitgeist.

This dead Minnesota couple has turned into a talking point and there are numerous posts like “did you post when they died” “did you have outrage when they died” etc, and I’m saying most people didn’t know about it. Or at least didn’t know the details.

So it’s a bad comparison.

They were local/regional figures vs Charlie Kirk who is a national and perhaps international celebrity and beloved figure.

Unfair? Maybe. But it be’s what it be’s.

The Google review was at 1.6 at 6 am or so this morning and now it’s back up to 4.5. How does that work?
