Bro I been playing in crypto for over a decade and I still don't understand them. I mean I'm pretty God damn involved in the crypto space and I am 100% convinced it is money laundering for the cartels.
I just don't get how their would be any other reason people would pay thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands for a fricking jpeg.
I mean fricking rocket has some from the early days that are valued at more than most of the OTs houses, more than the girl in the articles house.
For a fricking jpeg. I don't get it.

Let's cut to the chase. Somebody show me how to make an NFT and what website or online market I need to go to sell that NFT. I'll just make some stupid random stuff and if someone wants to give me money, great.
My theory is the NFTs aren't worth crap. They are just scooped up and assigned a value and then traded between people to just launder money. That's what a lot of art is used for but this way you don't have to go through the expense and time of physically exchanging the art.
Either way, I don't care what they do with my doodles if I get paid.

This was a good project to be a part of upfront.

This makes no fricking sense. If he sold them for $3, even if he took a picture every day for 10 years he would only make around $10k. What are you talking about.

Some NFT's are just a ticket to the club. Some of those clubs develop software, some have launched validators on the Solana network. Some are full of literal crypto whales. Some NFTs are/will be playable such as the ships sold for the game Star Atlas.
The root of non-fungible token is 'token.' At the root it's no different than a fungible token such as BTC. It's just represented by a little cartoon character.
Sure a lot of the projects are bullshite and will go to zero just as many of the ico's from 2017 went to zero.

From what i understand you basically create online art or a cartoon on a blockchain and it’s traceable/licensed to you and sell either the right to use it on ethereum blockchain or sell them outright on a crypto based market
I think that’s the gist of it.

It ceases to amaze me how dumb people are and all the dumb shite people waste their money on. I can't tell who is dumber. The idiots who got into 35k debt or the ones spending 120k on made up irrelevant cyber shite.

“She” has a moustache and an Adam’s apple.
And a Dong.

It's all fake. You don't get rich quick then run to CNBC to tell them your name, where you live, all your financial information and exactly how you did it. Oh and it saved their house. Don't worry about the details. The point is it could do that for you too! That's why this "story" exists.
Exactly…these are just advertisements to get dumbasses to buy NFT’s. This story isn’t real most likely. The same thing with the NFT that cost $300k but it was accidentally listed for $3000, which makes everyone think it was a deal.

Were people saying the same thing about the internet?
In regards to crypto NFTs.
What happened with that bubble?
