Amazing? Idk. It's a crescent moon. What's happening is cool, but it doesn't look amazing. The red part should be neat.

Best lunar eclipse I’ve ever seen. With the naked eye, I see an aqua blue layer ahead of the shadow, like the color of the planet is being reflected back to us. Cameras don’t pick it up, or it’s just an illusion of my eyes or refractory light or something. It’s a freaking gorgeous blue/green color when your eye detects it, though.

Kind of nuts how those flashes are noticeable in BR considering how far away those storms are. I had to check the radar because I thought my eyes were fricked up or something.

You can really see the 3 dimensional depth of the moon. It’s pretty cool to view it that way.

I’m at Olympia and it’s amazing. The shadow cam across a huge full moon. Now the real dearness is creeping across.
