I can see the moon - nothing unusual yet - I think the full eclipse will start about 10:30 Central

Can someone tell me where in the sky the moon is? I'm in Little Rock. Can't see the moon. What direction do I look, North, East, South, West etc

It is visible looking in the East-South-East direction at an altitude of 9° above the horizon.

Live links if it’s cloudy for you.

Really bro?? The moon is always rising in the east and setting in the west. Full moons start around dusk.

No good telescope images yet. Its like the clouds are doing a striptease over the moon and the good bits aren't showing

It's bright AF over here in SWLA.

t’s 8:31, what are we supposed to be seeing here?
The sky will be cast with beautiful moonbows and the moon is going to change colors.

All I can see is a faint glow now. I don't look for it to get any better.

Ha...at least my comment wasn't as bad as what NWS Nashville just said:

If you're planning to watch the Lunar Eclipse tonight in #MiddleTennessee, unfortunately it's not looking promising. The HRRR forecast model loop below shows extensive clouds blocking the view (gray/white colors) #sorry #wearejustthemessenger

It looks spectacular here in SELA even with the clouds stretching across it. Sorry, Tennessee!

Anybody ever try to take an iPhone photo thru binoculars before? Don’t.
Taken only with iPhone as sun was setting.
Thought I had something here but pointed at top of tree.
You may get some of this.
Finally best I could get.
And now I think it’s actually starting. Might try now since I practiced.
