I serve my country by getting up every morning and making it happen & paying taxes so the leeches can keep on leechin’!

I wanted to put in 20, but I got sick of being sent to the galley for crank duty. Was in the same division as the Tomahawk FC's, so we GM's always got the shaft. I absolutely miss it though. I got to see a lot of the world in my 4 years.

Better than going to San Quentin for a crime you didn't commit. At least you got a full pardon.

Probably the most magical of MOS'. Oh, you need an MWR with a pool in a desert country, with an airfield, a Burger King, a PX, and an ammo depot. Give us five days.

Yep. I was there at the same time. I just missed being a plank owner. I asked to transfer early to her and was told no. I'm still salty about it. A little.

Only one because it was permanently deployed in the gulf.

So you spent your entire tour in the Gulf occasionally going to port. Only came back to the states for leave?

Trying to figure out what "permanently deployed" means here.

Israel has it right but for different reasons. Military service should be mandatory.

Great idea in theory but the numbers are astronomical. There are significantly more 18 year olds each year than recruits for all the services combined.
