Yes, she would beat my arse. Probably 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 (or would we have to stop at 2 sets?)

I'd get a point, though.

No, unless she messes up on a serve. I can return her serve, but the tennis ball will look like a Joey Gallo homerun ball when it leaves the court. Always had a problem with hitting it too hard

Your problem wasn't hitting it too hard, your problem was with control.

I think a 4.0 would expect to get at least a point. 3.5 may get one and a 3.0 would probably have to depend on an unforced error/double fault

Her serve is clocked at 120 plus.

You aren’t returning that.

Yeah I could. And I could also fly to Mars in a rocket if I had an instruction manual.

Eventually, yes. Didn’t say in a regulation game.... 1/1000 is still 1, she’s gonna eventually hit one out.

Back in college, I was a damn good tennis and racquetball player. I won plenty of competitions at health clubs and tournaments and whatnot. At one time I was ranked in the Top 10 in the state in my classification. All that said....

I've swung a racquet played racquetball. I think anybody has a punchers chance of an Ace. ONE ace.... That's it. And we are talking absolute luck that catches the line.

Not unless she would double fault, I think that’s the term.

Honestly the average person would not be able to return a pros kick serve. It's unbelievable what that kick serve looks like coming at you. ONLY IF SHE DOUBLE FAULTED..................

I think most people on this forum way over estimate the difference. The question is could you score a point. Most athletic males that could get a serve over would score a point . The difference between Male and female athletes is significant . The #400 ranked male In the world would beat Serena . That’s just the way it is . Could the average 30 year old athletic male beat her ? No, but he could score a point or two

I think a guy who played pretty competitively in high school could only because she averages enough double faults per match that you could get a point.

But for anyone else? Not a chance. She wouldn’t double fault against us (I’ve never played other than in high school PE classes) because she has no need to try and paint corners, or whatever that may be called in tennis. She could very easily hit it moderately hard right at me and I wouldn’t be able to return the serve. No need to serve anything that could remotely become a fault on her part

In an entire 3 set match? Yes, obviously. Im okay at tennis and would hit a winner or two if for no other reason than luck.

I was a decent player, 30 years ago, no doubt I could win a point. Haven't played a point in 15 years. Now, not a fricking chance, unless I got lucky on a drop shot top spin lob combo.
