Could you live in a house where a horrific crime (entire family murder) occurred?

With a death or a murder inside of a home, there's usually a 15-to-25 percent decrease in value for a few years after the event, which then goes away over a period of about twenty-five years, depending in how high profile the crime was.

Could you live in a better home, at a let's say 30% discount?..even if all the children and both parents were spread in almost each room, or a murder/suicide type of situation? Etc.

And llotot, if it were a murder..would the killer never being caught be a deciding difference for you?

I have.

Of course, I was the one who committed the crime.

Yeah I don't think it would bother me too much assuming everything was cleaned up. My wife would never go for it though.

My answer is No... but i’m not sure why.

I dont believe in ghosts, or heaven or hell or any of that supernatural crap.. but for whatever reason, it would still creep me out.

It would have to be cheap. Too many places to live to have everyone know that you live in the murder house.

What's the odds of that happening twice in the same house?

Wife and I looked at a house where a baby died inside (tragically). We wanted to live there, but we could not do it.

Why? It’s a hunk of meat that’s expired like any other animal.

Absolutely. It's just material who cares what happened there.
