John Wayne Gacy's house was torn down in the evidence collection process and has been a vacant lot ever since.

Sure. I do that now.

Sometimes, I do miss the wife and kids, though.

Not a chance. Whole family murdered you know some crazy spirits would be hanging around

Yep. I'd use the savings to remodel.

That’s a good idea! Sink a bunch of money into a house that you got cheap because NOBODY wanted to live in it. (Not because it was in bad shape but because of its history)

Great investment!

Nope. Around the neighborhood, you will always be those people who lived in that house.

There is a house in my neighborhood that we knew the people indirectly through some co-workers. The couple had some problems, from what we heard it was a situation that would explode at any time. One morning on my way to work, I passed it, and there was sheriffs and EMS people in the driveway. My heart sunk, turns out the guy hung himself in his bedroom, his dad came to check on him and found him. It was tragic, but somewhat a relief that he didn't hurt or kill his wife or kid. Turns out the wife and kid had moved out, later she moved back in for a while. I don't know if I could live in a house where someone died and I knew about it.

With that being said, I have no idea what has happened in the homes I have lived in, so I very well may have lived somewhere that had some bad stuff go down.

Years ago, I lived in a house where a man had pushed his mother down the stairs, killing her.
