If it were some savage rape or murder I'd probably drag em in half alive. Most other stuff, no. I'm probably involved

Hard to imagine that I would

That said, I'm not one of those "they're yer own kin/blood" types, I don't bother with many relatives outside of my immediate family (we're friendly, just don't make much effort).

Blut vor allem
Blood above all.

You turn your back on a brother, for the goddamn government? You are lower than the low.

If your brother has done something deserving death, like being a kiddy diddler...just take him out in the woods and suicide him yourself.

Only if it was something violent. Faith and family first.

if its just weed and a lifestyle thing, then no

if it serious drugs like coke, meth, or heroin then no problem calling in the law if kids or other family is getting pulled into their mess but if its just them and no kids involved then no i mind my own business and just treat them as i would any strangers.

but testify, no, not unless kids need to be taken away to protect them. most i would do is a phone call and its up to johnny law to make his own case for court

Tough question. I wouldn't talk to the police but under court order I probably would just because I wouldn't want to perjure myself.

The sister I hate? I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'd call the FBI if she bought fertilizer

My other sister? I'd go to the grave before giving her up. If it was inevitable, I'd take the blame. She could become the unibomber, and I'd still protect her

I don't think any of siblings are capable of a crime bad enough to make me turn on them.

I was on the other side of this. Grew up in Colorado with my dad and step-mom. While attending college at the University of Arizona someone cashed an $800 check in Portland on my dad's checking account.

He goes to the police and said his son did it and his rationale was that he had given me a check for my birthday and I was a poor college student. Even when they caught the guy my dad thought it was my friend. Keep in mind I have never been in trouble with the law, drugs or so on.

Basically he is a prick and crazy as hell. We havnt spoken in over a decade and have never had a close relationship.

Of course... only losers with zero sense of propriety and integrity would say a blanket no.

Depends on what he did, I guess. If my brother was the Unabomber, I'd probably have to do what his brother did and turn him in.

Same here. I'd lie for him and help him cover his alibi and may even help him dispose of the body, but if he touched a kid and take the stand on him. Luckily, my brother is a stand up guy so I'll never be in either position

Depends on the crime.

My sister, who is a couple years younger, is like my best friend so it'd be tough. But if she blew up a hospital or something I'd be like "yo, you can't be doing that. It's not a good thing. It might be best for everyone involved if you weren't allowed access to the general public."

Taking a life is, you know, kind of a big deal and stuff so I'd have to think it through based on the circumstances. Aside from that I'm fine with the police doing their own detective work without my involvement.

eta: my sister is cool af, even cooler than me, I have to admit. She's also super straight-laced (aside from usual San Francisco stuff like eating gummies every once in a while) so something crazy would have to go down for her to ever be arrested.

Hmmmmmmmm…… depends....

1.Seriousness of crime
2.Level of my involvement(if any)
3.State of relationship at that time
