They also grew up poor in an area where being that type of person is a legitimate option and are often idolized so he probably understood why he did the things he did.

It depends. If it was something like a RICO crime , etc , no I wouldn't rat them out. If it were violent , a capital offense, I'm not sure, I would however encourage them to turn themselves in.

I'm close with my brother, so absolutely not.

If it were a violent crime like rape or murder I would turn my brother in. Unless I thought the murder was justified. I'd snitch on my sister over a traffic violation.

If your brother was a sociopathic multi murderer or serial killer you don't turn him in? That's wrong.

I like both of my sisters and probably wouldn't. One of them is an Austin SJW and I used to troll her on Facebook a lot when I had it but we get along fine in person.

Nope. I don't think I ever would. And I know they'd feel the same way.

My sister is an awful person, a neglectful parent, and probably the biggest narcissist I've ever met. She also identifies as a "non-binary pansexual" and loses her shite if you refer to her by "her" instead of they/them so there's also that.

Here's an example from just last week: For her son's fifth birthday "party" she and her 19 yo boyfriend (she's 32) took him to the bookstore and left him in the magazine section while they shopped for books for themselves. No cake . No presents.

I can't stand her.

I know of a guy who was under investigation for attempted murder, he tried to pin it on his twin brother. How fricked up is that...

The "Unabomber" was outed by his brother when he and his wife read Ted's manifesto that was published in several newspapers. He recognized many of the phrases Ted used to express his views and agonized over reporting him to authorities, but eventually did.

That led to Ted being investigated and ultimately captured, brought to trial where he pled guilty before the trial began and got a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

If his brother had not done that, who knows how many more people would have been killed or maimed by the bombs Ted was sending out. When captured, there was a very sophisticated, deadly bomb found in his small cabin in the woods that was ready to send.
