We've done it at a Braves game many many years ago. 2 things made it possible....

1) I was much younger, in my mid 20s
2) Baseball games lasted 4 hours then lol

Couldn't do it now...cant eat and drink that much, and games only last about 2:15-2:45 mins

It’s all fun and games until they hit into a triple play and now you are playing catch up the rest of the game

You’re limited to one beer and hot dog per inning… it isn’t the 9-9-9 challenge if you eat six hot dogs the first three innings and drink half of the beers before then too. It’s about endurance

Plus you can’t do this challenge by yourself. They’ll only serve you so much alcohol. You need someone to buy beers for you after the first few and be the designated driver

beers would be a piece of cake, hot dogs not so much

With the pitch timer, games are now only like 2-2.5hrs long. 150 mins. 9 beers. One beer every 17 minutes. That's not easy, especially while downing hot dogs. The beer will bloat your gut drinking them that fast and then the hot dogs!?

I would fail horribly.

Light work. Real men can take on the 10-10-10 challenge. 10 beers, 10 lbs crawfish, run 10 miles

If I’m not paying I’ll attempt it. $12 a beer is already over $100 in beer.

For those of y’all talking about them shutting down beer sales after the 7th and sometimes limiting the number of beers one person buys.

Y’all are talking about the average go to one game type fan. This is a message board of mainly college football fans. Those type of limitations place no limitations on the average poster here.

Spread out the beer vendors you visit, take your wife with you in the seventh and each buy two. This is grade school level stuff for sports fans.

ive definitely had nine beers at a baseball game before but there is no chance on the nine hotdogs. Even without the beer.

The Colorado 999 challenge would be right up your alley then.... Which is what I thought this thread was about lol

Colorado 999

quote:

McCumber lives there because it allows him to take “a breather from the mental taxation of the PGA Tour,” he told Colorado Avid Golfer. He hikes, he fishes and, most important for my purposes, he snowboards, which made him a prime target for a question I’d been mulling: If we wanted to play nine holes of golf, take nine runs down the mountain and catch nine innings of baseball — all in the same day — could we pull it off in the Denver area? This is what we like to call The 9-9-9 Challenge. (Check out the video and continue reading below.)

A few years ago, without a doubt. I think I'd done at about 6 or 7 beers and hotdogs now though.
