Go back and watch the early UFC fights where they had no weight classes and you will see little dudes tapping guys that have 100+ lbs on them, that are also experts in fighting, but didn't know submission defense.
link some up.

So are you saying you would be able to do the same thing to a guy who medaled in the Olympics in judo who weighs say 145 (one of the lowest weight classes)
Exactly how fricking bad would pretty much EVERY man in the 135lb MMA top five men beat Rousey? I'll help you. They'd beat the dog shite out of her.
You're gonna have to move farther down the weight scale for your comparison.

You don't have to be held down in order to get an armbar out on you ya know. All she has to do is get two hands on one of your wrists, throw her legs into position and boom you are tapping or getting a broken arm. She has done it tens of thousands of times, the speed she can slap one on someone is mind-blowing.
An athletic 250 lb guy could power out of an armbar, if they have novice grappling knowledge they'd beat her with ease.

all she has to do huh?
in the meantime this 200-220lb man is attacking her also. the size advantage is a lot to overcome. she is 135lbs and a woman

If we're talking strict UFC rules, the fight can be lost without getting knocked out or actually tapping. If she is able to lock in a submission that can't be broken after a few seconds, the ref is likely calling the fight before serious injury occurs.

The amount of force her muscles can apply PALES in comparison to the amount his can. And, little shite like the fact that the move that she applies to a woman with a 34 inch chest who is 5'6" tall will now have to be applied to a frame with 42-44 inch chest who is over 6'. It becomes a COMPLETELY different situation to even just grab the guy.

Btw what is the it's standard of the average guy?
I've had a professional mma guy tap me out five times in about a 4 minute time span. He weighed about 30 pounds less than I did and was a bjj brown belt. I had a clear strength advantage in terms of weight lifting but in grappling or randori he owned me. Granted it was also my first week of learning bjj.
I'm sure Ronda would tap me out like my instructor did

I'm 6'2" and 170 lbs.
I don't know about all the OT tough guys in here but she would disable me for life within a minute. I'd probably have life-threatening injuries after a full round.

It would only be called if there was a broken bone or loss of consciousness.

I think at least 30% of the American male population gives her a run for her money, with many of those annihilating her. Maybe I'm insane. I don't watch much if any MMA. I just can't get past the physics of a 135lb female trying to whip a male that is 50+ pounds heavier. She would destroy little weak dudes and fatass bronies, sure. But a super strong chic has the strength of an average male, at best.

I just don't think most people respect that and it's mostly people that don't have an understanding or experience with it.
Come on, man. I've seen enough fights and been in enough fights to know what's what.
I am confident I would beat her in a fight. My only concern would be fatigue.
I have 100 lbs on her and I work out regularly. I don't see anyone male or female at 135 lbs being able to hurt me without me hurting them worse.
I respect the fact that fighting is her life and that she's a champion and an Olympian. I've seen her fight. She's a powerful fighter for her size and gender. But she would not last against an "average" 240 lb man who knows how to fight.

In the first ufc's when Brazilian jiu jitsu was unknown in America. Royce Gracie made larger men tap. He weighed about a buck seventy five I think. And he wasn't even the best bjj guy in their family. Royler and rickson were.
Now their cousin jean Jacques machado was one awesome grappler as well. He only has one function hand since his other hand is deformed.

I was talking about Mike's rugby strategy of the bull rush and the idea that someone who is out weighed would let someone else just bullrush them and not move.
She does have world class judo skills which gives her a fighting chance against someone 110lbs heavier.

She is a fricking female. A 135 lb female. What are you retards not getting about this. Some of us arent fatass unathletic guys sitting behind a keyboard. Some of us have wrestled/boxed. I more than likely have more wrestling experience than her (freestyle and greco) and have about 85 lbs on her and probably at least 8" of reach. Most any athletic 190+ male would be able to seriously hurt her. Any male that size that has acutually trained would embarass her. Some of you watch too much TV.
I was trolling when I said I could beat her. But I agree with you. I'm quite sure there are some on here that would destroy her.
I know her skills could negate a lot but at some point the raw physics are too much to overcome. It is fun to think at exactly what point does is it a fair fight. Amateur trained men in her weight class destroy her IMO. Highly athletic men without MMA skills, but with some wrestling background destroy her. What combination of experience and athleticism is it a fair fight?

Well yeah they are elite of the elite. Uriah Faber would beat rousey. Now I don't think Bryan carraway would.

I have relative who is a young, up-and-comer MMA fighter at featherweight (I think he fights at around Rousey's size.) And my size advantage does nothing against him. He could demolish me.
I don't know why people here underestimate professional fight training. The average person (like me) has very little clue on how to use their body as a weapon.
