If you watch these YouTube channels of people living in their cars, they often get chased out of parking lots like Walmart and such.

There’s a homeless dude with a bunch of Jewish flags living on the sidewalk/fence of the Walmart parking lot on Tchoup. Dude has been set up there for at least the last 5 years.

I don’t see why not, they let campers park in their lots. There have also been cases where people were living inside 24 hour Walmarts.

Sure...but then you are living in a wal mart parking lot.

When you have a makeshift RV why not just be in the wilderness?

They can probably steal some electricity, so they aren't burning through their propane. Also have facilities so you aren't shitty next to your bed.

I've been researching this. It's called urban stealth camping. I won't lie, part of me wants to sell my home and most of my possessions and bank about $650k. Then work for 7-10 years while living in my SUV and retire in 7-10 yrs.

Most get memberships to Planet Fitness for showers, eat main meal at lunch while at work, etc. I could definitely do it, but the wife will never go for it

That’s seriously disturbing. Those kids don’t look well cared for at all.

I know an engineer who makes an impressive salary who does it for months on end. He will park his class A motorhome, which cost about what a modest home would cost, in the parking lot, unhitch the jeep and head off to work. Moves between Walmarts and Bass Pro Shops and Lowes type parking lo

There are regulations regarding how long truckers can drive

I went down an internet rabbit hole a while back and saw this too. At least in the past Walmarts would generally allow this. Walmart was a preferred location for thus type of camping because there was generally security patrols that would ensure the campers weren't harassed during the night, the store itself was convenient for restocking supplies, and because a lot of these were 24 hours they had access to bathroom facilities as needed.
