Gimmie where they are giving better “information” then.
Not sure how can you get better info on the lethality and infectivity off of 8 cases regardless of how open you are but I’m prepared to be surprised.
And I believe I’ve said multiple times there was and is internal suppression. Compared to what they did with SARS? This is crystal clear transparency.
And if you can’t see that....
Still want that open and transparent HK information. I’m even being kind enough to ignore the presumption that HK is fundamentally distinct from China what with all of the crap that has been happening the past six months, with dissidents getting “suicided”

Probably because it's not affecting America in the numbers it's affecting China. It's still a "sit back and monitor" type situation here in America.

That entire press conference was discussing the entire outbreak, using data from Wuhan.
Wait, you thought that was based on just the HK cases?
It hasn’t even been in HK long enough for them to know what it is going to do. It’s R-naught is close to zero based on that, as I believe contact tracing of all HK cases up to now goes through Wuhan.

Good point for those who haven't read other virus papers. That level of detail appears in every virus technical paper, even those that are about plant viruses. Without that, there can be no validity to replicable results.
There is a second Lancet paper from 1 December about a virus in China.
Lancet is a major publication and I can only imagine the care they took to get this out quickly and with pinpoint accuracy

They mention a possible vaccine candidate, but that would take 3 months to get into testing and then another 3 months to roll out, that's assuming it's the right one.
They can't confirm asymptomatic transmission because China hasn't shared that with them yet.

Just giving you a “shred of evidence” that China has not been completely upfront.
