Alright, the plan is to shut down all air conditioners in Louisiana from now till November!

So we will see a 40 degree average temp increase here in Louisiana probably in June
No we won't.
Your study is in Celsius. The average February high in New Orleans is 19 C. A 40 C rise would be like 140 F.
Plus one has to consider factors like how widespread AC is here. It'll be 70 and low humidity indoors most places.
I'll take all the help the heat and humidity can give us though.

We'll get close.

now will have their children home from school for a few weeks minimum.
Good thing there are plenty of baby sitters who are also sitting at home doing nothing since high schools and colleges are closed too.

have not seen any new information about new cases/deaths. Anybody care to share?
Yes. Mortality rate in the US is down to 2.34% as of right now (41 deaths, 1746 confirmed cases). Was about 2.9% this morning. If the trend maintains with the ramp up in testing that is happening, mortality may drop below 2% tomorrow.
I'll update in the morning after I check Costco for a toilet paper resupply.

CDC has tested 77 people this entire week. That's not a typo. 77 people.
The CDC is an absolute joke. Our leaders are failing us exceptionally.

I converted to F. So a 20 F increase is about 10 C increase. Right?
0.02 per 1 C so 0.2 per 10 C
Did I miss something?

That can’t be real
Looks like they've updated some numbers since yesterday so, yes, it isn't real
You can see the numbers here
The private testing is slowly creeping upward and looking better as they're actually eclipsing over 1000 tests nationwide per day. That didn't start happening until March 4th though they've yet to hit 2000 tests in a single day.

I love how there were a bunch of upvotes too. People didn’t even check his math, just liked that it was a presumed gotcha

The Obama administration tested 1 million people for H1N1 in the first month after the first US diagnosed case. The first US Coronavirus case was 50+ days ago. And we haven't event tested 10,000 people yet.

We already had proven flu tests. We didn’t have proven coronavirus tests.
The frick up was not taking the WHO tests until we developed our own. I believe that was due to arrogance. frick the CDC

While I do hope the heat and humidity study is true, there have been experts saying that heat and humidity may not affect it, as we saw with another strain of Coronavirus, MERS. Comparing it to the flu is like apples and oranges. If compared to past Coronavirus strains, heat and humidity are not a factor. Just to clarify, I am not an expert, not saying they are wrong, just saying it has been argued. The sky is not falling and I don't own a doomsday bunker or 53,972 rolls of toilet paper. We shall see, I'm hoping that this study is spot on!

And that backs up everything we all said that it’s the lack of information and unknown leading to the panic.
Had the feds been remotely on their shite with testing these closures don’t happen

= 255 milli people dead.

Yeah but those people were saying that because we literally didn’t know and past viruses have acted differently.
