Corona may destroy the Chuck E Cheese

Looks like the pizza mouse is in some trouble. Hard to make payments on a 1 billion debt load when you have no revenue. I also wonder what their future might look like... are parents going to be wanting to take their kids to places like this

Went to the one in BR on Siegen a few years ago with my nephew. Looked like a hoodrat daycare. The parent were so ratchet. Just awful.

This could just as easily be an article about the harm that private equity firms do to business concerns by taking on massive debt, paying cash to the principals, and letting the business wither on the vine until they file for bankruptcy to stiff the creditors. Of course Covid didn't help, but this same playbook has brought down a lot of successful and popular brands.
