Correct, that's why context matters. We aren't talking about 2 people who were drinking together and had sex. In this instance, the woman is outnumbered, for one. That already changes the dynamic. But the main thing is the actual group chat message. "Free pussy!"
Unless it comes out that the young lady herself was the one who said, "yes, I am willing to frick every guy in the fraternity tonight", then that is not okay.

The guy saw that she was extremely fricked up and open because of the drugs and alcohol, so he decided that the rest of his fraternity brothers should be able to join in as well.

Not illegal

And by her own words whenever she asked follow on guys to stop they stopped

Once again. Try to read and understand more beyond the first headline from a week ago.

Sending the message by itself isn't illegal. But if you come in to start gangbanging a girl who is heavily intoxicated. That is illegal.

She literally asked for a threesome because she thought the two dudes were gay and it made her excited. These are her own words, sober, to the police, two weeks later.

Gross behavior, but not illegal.

She told them all what she was and wasn't comfortable with, again by her own free admission to the police over two weeks later. She said no foursomes, didn't want to make out with one guy, asked to leave when she was tired, etc.

This is yet another reason I’ve always told my son “nothing is free in life and beware of anyone claiming otherwise!”

He never would have fallen for this trap!

So, did she tell them that she was okay with having sex with any and everyone?

Pretty sure trying to get laid isn’t illegal.

What is illegal is continuing when told to stop.

Her being drunk also doesn’t matter. Read the NY law on the matter

Why did she originally go to police?

I believe...but I could be wrong...that it was because the messages that when out through the Frat were relayed to the Teaching staff and they kind of pushed that

She stated she consented to every single person who engaged in sexual activity with her, yes. Because there was some pervy group chat message sent out does not vitiate consent that was knowingly and freely given to the active participants in the encounter.

I thought they investigated, she wrote in her own words. That she was a filthy whore who allowed the orgy.

Now she has back tracked and changed her story?

Remember, women and democratic men, have stated that a woman can whore it up, then the next day feel bad, and have you arrested for rape, as her regret of the sex is legit.

It was her hormones. She couldn’t help herself. The Clancy trial has shown us that women should never be held to account for anything, ever.

Boy is it. Why are these guys assholes? You can't say that without knowing what actually happened. You've already said you don't know what happened.

Well, in the lawsuit, she is most definitely not saying that she consented to every single sexual activity.

At this point, I feel as if I've expressed my viewpoint as well as I could. I will bow out of this thread and this topic until some new information surfaces.

I can put in a lawsuit that the sky is green, doesn't make it true.

Duke Lacrosse is nothing like this case. The allegations in the Duke case were completely fabricated, not one of the stripper's claims were true, and no one had sex with her. That case also had serious prosecutorial misconduct that led to disbarments. Literally nothing happened in the Duke case; this situation is much, much different factually.

Paraphrasing her texts weeks after the “rape” “OH MY GOD PLEASE LET ME GO TO YOUR HALLOWEEN PARTY I WILL BRING CIGS!”

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN’T COME?? WOMEN ALWAYS GET IT THE WORST!”

Then reports the “rape” a few days later. Because trauma or something. You need weeks of wanting to go back to the house with all the guys who supposedly raped you and being slut shamed by your sorority to decide it was actually a rape!! Its science you misogynist!!
