I'm gonna need to know the predominant race of the church attendance.

Do you think busy intersections shouldn't have light cycles that adjust with traffic flow? That's all that's happening here except these extreme traffic flows are too irregular to justify a traffic signal so they get them to pay police to be human traffic signals. I get it, I hate the 9 months out of the year when kids are getting warehoused and they and their professional babysitters practically double my commute time, but nobody else cares and most would disagree that your travel time is more important than that of the people you're complaining about.

I kind of understand your point, but if no officers were there directing traffic, I feel like you would have started a thread about how awful the traffic is and how it needs to be directed by law enforcement.
There's going to be traffic once a week on Sunday's because there's a church there. That's not changing. I'd rather have someone directing that traffic than not.

If they are paying law enforcement to intervene in traffic, I'm about 98% sure I know what race is involved. Some people don't like to be around law enforcement no matter what the deal is.

A lot of them, yeah, but that is irrelevant to your dumb take.
Keep digging and deflecting because you realize what you said was dumb.

Cops stopping traffic to let church goers in/out. I'm not a fan.
So, you're OK with cops stopping traffic for people going to those anti-American NFL games?

They could have installed a light and held you up 7 days a week, seems like you should be happy they didn’t
Or- install light that stays green until a designated time when a deputy drives up and hits the switch on Sunday morning. But that would make too much sense.

LSU is a government entity so you are against cops doing contracts flow after football games.
Posted on 4/29/18 at 1:07 pm to Rouge
Cops are paid for traffic control by private entities all the time:
- Large parking garages in CBD areas in the evening.
- Concerts, sporting events, etc.
I don’t see the issue.
