What about catholic schools? Can we hire officers for traffic at the student drop off?

We had one at my non religious affiliated private school. It was in a neighborhood so it was mutually beneficial to all involved.

Rouge is against this for all non profits since they "don't Pau taxes" which also isn't true.

How is this even legal? Holding me up from getting my Tito's vodka on a Sunday morning is not ok by me.

Guess you'd prefer more wrecks?

Meh, arguments regarding police and religion have become "edgy" the last few years. This thread knocks them both out at once. It's become popular on FB also with all the "edgy" and "against the grain" type people who've popped up all over the place since social media has become so big. No biggie

If an accident wiped out a family of 5 after worship, would that be such a bad thing? Heaven is we all long to be. Getting there sooner seems like an envious position to witnesses.

The police have a duty to ensure the safety of the citizenry. They do the same for areas of commerce and no one complains. It's perfectly okay, even if it angers the filth.

Do you have the same opinion about police directing traffic before and after football games? Or you only bothered with churches?

While I tend to agree, understand that BR would simply put a light there if the police did not control Sunday traffic. And that would disrupt the flow of traffic seven days a week instead of one.

These cops are usually hired directly by the church but still wear their uniforms.

Know how I know your ignorant?? They aren't hired by the church moron. It's called extra duty. The church request deputies or officers via the extra duty office and has to be a set amount. So yea let's strip them of their uniforms and laws just bc some ignorant guy makes a misinformed comment
