Do you also get upset that cops work at concerts and sporting events to help direct all the thousands of cars leaving at the same time?

It's traffic management for a large event. No differenr than a concert downtown.

Same. Seems like they should just pray to Jesus for help getting onto the street. I used to get stopped by that nonsense at healing place heading to the barn.

No, that's just the cop playing God, as always.

Other businesses don't get free cop services.

I understand that. I see your attempts at an explanation. While appreciated, I don't agree with it. The same group that gets tons of tax exemptions seems too quick to utilize those same.public services as they see fit. That is why I bring matters of the faith into the discussion. They do not pay into the system. As such, I take issue with their abilities to benefit from it.

So you're against it at all times then right? What about when you get held up for an hour because theres a concert? This a retarded argument, they are paying for it through their private funds just like anyone else would so you're pretty much saying they should be denied services just because they are religious.

And by the way, those cops are just as much there for you as they are the church. It's to improve the flow of traffic for everyone, not just the church goers. So the church could be paying not to inconvenience you. You're welcome on my proxy via the church.

No go jerk off to your internet relationship with Liz.

Pretty sure it ain't free, just like other private businesses that use law enforcement, movie theaters, shopping malls, etc.

You do realize these churches pay for the off duty cop detail?

they are traffic control

In no way should that maintain rights of a police officer

They are security guards for all intents and purposes

because they know people won't attend if they have to wait to get out of service

It is a simple business decision

Well except for the fact they're cops. Now you're just bitching to bitch because you realized your complaint has no merit and you were wrong.

Yeah, with my plate money. Why should I have to pay for others who can't drive?

So you are ok with it if it’s a sporting event? The church is paying for it so not much you can do about it.

Ok...traffic detail...whatever.

Point is...the church pays for the service.

You know church is every Sunday...maybe avoid that route or plan around it? Just like you would say for any other large event.

The cops at my church are just on a side street into the church. Helps to get people out quicker to lessen the inconvenience to the neighborhood surrounding the church.
