Cop was aggravating as frick but this guy also clearly gets off on having this situation come up so he can film it etc. totally side with the guy, but I would think they could have some of obvious looking tag or something to prevent having to go through this rigmarole every time he vacations to the states.
Cop wrong as frick, annoyed he can’t admit he’s wrong and that he wasn’t aware of this type of scenario.
On the other hand this is a pretty uncommon means of road tripping from Dubai

Driving with electronic hand controls and having a special drivers license and a copy of my driving assessment that explains why I have the privilege to drive and the equipment I use, I have been stopped by police and gave them the information I was told to keep in van and give police if stopped and they were confused and wasn't sure what to do at first.. Or if they had to do something different, which they didn't but like I said, it was an unusual circumstance. This seems to be one of those usual circumstances. I get why both parties responded like they did, but definitely not something to make a big deal about.

So where was his actual license plate? Was it on the outside of the vehicle? He looked like he was pointing towards front passenger seat when mentioning his plate.
Searching Dubai plates found images that were easily recognizable as a license plate on rear of vehicle and just had different designs over the years.

Ah our daily hate cop thread. Place is becoming worse than reddit.
Dude isn't about hating cops. This particular cop is a idiot. The guy gave him all of the documents he had and rather take the time to learn that he was wrong, he just doubled down and hauled arse.

The avg Redditer would consider this site extremely pro cop and stormfront 2.0. Not that either is remotely true but always funny when people try to compare this place to Reddit which is another level entirely of craziness

There is a reason people think many cops are jackasses. It’s because many of them are jackasses.
Most cops make fast-food equivalent salaries for a dangerous job where every interaction is negative. That profession isn't attracting great candidates, outside of the rare person who is actually trying to do some good in the world. I think even the good guys get somewhat jaded.
Considering all of this, I'm not sure why people are surprised that these guys don't know many of the laws that aren't extremely common knowledge.

I'm sure the cop has never run into this before, but he should take it as a learning experience instead of being a dick.

Same situation trying to explain a Louisiana temp tag to a sheriff deputy in a small Northern Arkansas county…
“This looks like something you could make it home and the numbers look like they wrote down with a marker or some sort “
