I didn't even watch it. I could go find bad cop videos all day long and post them here. Is that what you guys want? There are youtube channels dedicated to it.

He probably didnt recognize it as a valid license plate because they look different.
The driver says its dubai plates and points towards the back of the car.
I can see how the cop wouldn't recognize a 2 or 3 digit plate as a license plate and i dont think anyone could even blame him for that but when the driver tried to explain he couldve waited before jumping the gun on getting hostile

I will give the cop a little bit of credit, that driver was taking his sweet time, he knew where all of those documents were. He was fumbling around …the cop very clearly asked for a few documents and it took the guy 3 minutes to handover 2 pieces of paper.

Got it. If so, seems disingenuous for the cop to say “you don’t have plates” . That’s a lie. The cop could have said “ you have plates I don’t recognize “

There are far more videos posted on this site with idiots not following simple instructions from cops and those idiots get called out. It’s a two way street.

That cop is a dick to everyone he pulls over, you can bet your arse on that.
The general public are very much arse holes, too, but not all of us.

Probably because the cop wouldnt shut the frick up and stop asking him questions. Its pretty distracting when an imbecile is loudly blathering at you.

There are, of course, hundreds of videos of this type of behavior, just like there are hundreds of videos of cops dealing with abhorrent behavior and viewers wondering why the cops don't just shoot someone This cop cleary has an ego problem and at the very least, should be made awe=are of it.

Then he gets mad and says “what I need is your proof of insurance.” And when the driver says he has it but was just giving all the documents he was asked for the cop was like “ o you’re giving me all this instead of the insurance.”

Cops aren't infallible. And they aren't, and SHOULDNT, be above scrutiny.
They put up with a lot of bullshite and deal with some real shite heads every day. I couldnt do it. I wouldn't do it.
I've been to jail. Twice. In younger/rowdier days. My cousin is an officer in Indianapolis. I hear all sorts of wild stories from him.
My point is, these guys have my utmost respect for signing up for that job. That doesn't mean you just get to act the way the officer in this video did. If you have the legal authority to detain and incarcerate people, you'd better know the fricking law.
The cop messed up, knew it, and instead of admitting to that, he chose to be a complete douche instead. Just admit you didn't know because you don't encounter this particular situation ever, apologize, and send the guy on his way. It's not rocket science. Doubling down on being wrong just makes you an a-hole.
