Only thing I can think of something similar is the Tampa Bay Bucs cheerleaders doing a dance to "Rock You Like a Hurricane" while playing the Saints during the 2005 season (meaning right after Katrina)
sometimes these directors just don't understand how these performances can play with certain crowds due to current events

Totally agree about the bringing of guns on school property. My son was outstanding student, and athlete, someone saw a soft air gun in his back seat.... we had to go before the dam parish discipline board to defend him. They were considering expulsion!
Nothing will be done in this situation.... I say that based on color of the bands skin.

Just heard they were invited to a band competition in Copiah county today....Whoever is putting it on called Forest Hill and told them they are uninvited and to stay home!

Forest Hill High School: 1063 students, of which 1039, of 97.74%, identify as african american. The number of white students is so tiny that it's not even published "to prevent the identification of individuals in small cells or with unique characteristics"
Brookhaven High School: 760 students, of which 443, or 58.29%, identify as African American. 303 or 39.87% identify as white.
Also, Brookhaven was a B school in 2015-2017. Forest Hill, I know this is probably going to shock people, but was rated an F school.
