Based loosely on the movie, “John Q,” the band’s performance depicted a hostage scene that included toy guns.

I still want to know why a halftime show is based on a guy taking a hospital hostage to save his son. What the hell were the ideas they turned down?

Look at the front one in blue.

This chick is NOT PLAYING.

Everyone else appears to be smiling and joking. This chick seems to LITERALLY be visualizing a murder....

BTW, didn't read the thread but if anyone defended these actions.

Just know you are pathetic. Truly.

Find that girl's name out, I'm wagering a mug shot within 10 years. She just looks way too happy about pointing a gun at a cop lying on the ground.

Update

Forest Hill band director speaks out, says he was fired by letter

quote:

Jones said he was unaware that two Brookhaven police officers had been killed in the line of duty days before his band’s performance, in which students dressed as professionals aimed fake weapons at police.

Band has been suspended for the rest of the year by MHSAA.

Good! They deserve it, although they probably don’t care and will use in turn use this to reinforce the bullshite oppressed mentality instead of reflecting on how messed up this stunt was

What rock was he living under if he didn’t know that two Brookhaven cops had been killed the week before?

It was all over the news statewide and all the schools had their flags at half mast
