Its an issue when you first get married but then you learn that you can't go everywhere. You will have to exclude a few stops. Or you can do the every other year thing. Go to two places one year, next year go to the other two. You will end up wearing yourself out and start hating the holidays if you try to do it all.
Head down, touch ‘em all, ironic silent treatment in dugout followed by laughter by all.

If you have an alter on here, and it appears that is the likely case, I'd suggest sitting THIS dumbass and go with it.

It actually was the LSU/Rice game three months earlier, so that’s how I know it wasn’t you.

Just stay home and tell the four sets of grandparent to come to your place. Problem solved. You're welcome.

Well.... we KNOW it was the former, and we also KNOW that you are trying to pass it off as the latter.

Pass. My wife's parents are divorced, so we only have 3 sets to see. We see her mom's side at Christmas Eve party. My family on Christmas Day at their house, and then her dad's side at their party day after Christmas.

No way would I want to host all those groups over the course of Christmas Day at my house Christmas Day if for our daughter to enjoy the morning all to herself opening gifts and playing and just having us time.

If his real intent was to head off the typical comment, he could've said "NB4______", but that obviously wasn't his intention

I just texted this question to friend of mine who is married, no kids, and he and his wife are from about 5 hours apart. They always go to her family’s place for every holiday.

My first instinct was that he’s whipped and that’s that because he’s that kind of guy and she is extremely attractive. But this thread made me think there’s another reason.

His answer: “Her family is one place. My family is two. It was my idea to always go to hers, and she was like, cool.”
