re: Commerce GA cop suspended after making multiple false arrests for DUI

Now, let's have a little chat about drug dogs and the assholes who use (or abuse) them to get a false hit in order to have "probable cause".

You know, there's nothing in the Constitution proper or the Bill of Rights that says "unless you're drunk." Drunk people have the rights to be secure in their homes, assemble freely, speak their minds, and bear arms.

I would interpret "assemble freely" to include driving a car, in our era. A drunk driver who doesn't damage anything or break some other law ought to be protected from criminal charges by any reasonable interpretation of the Constitution.

Similarly, I believe registration and insurance requirements, driving tests, etc. are unconstitutional. The question to ask is, "would the founders have found it acceptable to forbid a man from riding on horseback on such a basis?" and the answer is a resounding "no."

The crooked cop who’s been arresting multiple people who blew zero and had negative blood tests?

The crooked cop who arrested someone who had a bottle of melatonin, an over the counter sleep aid, claims it tested positive for fentanyl, then charged him with possessing meth?

Are you as stupid, crooked, and clueless as the cop?

GA cops are the worst.

Honestly, he should be executed. I'm one who defends police officers more than most, but I also believe they should be held to a higher standard when committing wrongdoing. Straight up lying to throw someone in jail should be punished very, very severely.

Crooked cops should be thrown in jail for life without parole. When you're in charge of protecting the law, you should be held to a higher standard, yet cops will circle the wagons.
