Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge...a couple of guys threw a cinder block into the windshield of a girl and killed her. They may have tried it again before they caught them, I don't remember.

This happened in Baton Rouge area years ago circa 1989.
Kids fricking around throwing rocks/blocks at passing cars.
Terrible.

Rock Creek is not ghetto. Something fishy about this. Also Arvada Co is in Jefferson Cty not 70 miles away. Article poorly written.

Y'all ain't gonna believe this. Those two dudes lived together off Jefferson in Nesser Garden for 18 years. I wonder if they were gay lovers. They share that common address. Ah it was Dewitt's mama's condo.

The folks who give us everything we love about New Awlins were doing this years ago. My mom’s windshield got smashed as she was headed towards the lake around one of the overpasses near the Dome. It didn’t go through it, but had enough force to shatter the entire thing making it impossible to see anything. She came to a stop slowly, somehow, called 911, my dad, and had to get it towed.
I would absolutely love 60 seconds to meet and speak with whoever decided that was entertaining.

I’m not sure if it was the same night or not, but around that time my mom and sister were almost killed at that same location by someone throwing chunks of concrete at cars. They were extremely fortunate that the stone hit front of my mom’s car resulting in minor damage to the car.

Same shite happened a few years ago, teens threw a brick or large rock off a overpass and killed the driver below. I wanna say maybe Michigan.

That happened while I was LSU or had just previously graduated. I knew Diane, and can confirm, she was a sweet soul of a person. Her Dad, Dr. Upp, didn't want the kid's life ruined, so he influenced prosecutors to reduce charges. I remember having a very hard time with that. Terrible tragedy. I still think about it every now and then. They're both in Heaven with Jesus. Great family. I can attest to that.

I wonder that all the time. I also wonder if I could've done what Dr. Upp did...I have 2 daughters, and I don't think I could've forgiven the kid like he did. It would take the Almighty's power to have to go through that..
