As if Kaepernick had to ever deal with any type of "struggle" in his life.
He is a bi-racial born on Wisconsin, who was adopted by some rich white people who then moved to California in a predominately white area and he went to one of, if not the top high school in California. And then played college ball at Nevada (which is in Reno.. Which has a black population of like 3%).
The year he started kneeling, he did so the 3rd preseason game of that year. He had said that Spring that he didn't want to play for Chip Kelly. I've been saying this, but I think he was trying to get cut so that he could sign with another team, which was probably his agent's advice for him since he didn't want to be in SF, but even if this whole controversial thing would have never taken place, there were no teams at that time who would sign him as a starter.
I honestly think he was looking for an out to stop playing football without having to say "I don't feel like playing anymore". People bought into his bullshite and then all of a sudden he becomes this "icon".

Even kapernick has to be wondering to himself at times about how he became such a big hero with a nonsense premise that this country and ALL police are racist.
I mean, talk about looking at a glass half empty. This is the epitome. The guy was never a victim of that which he claims is the problem. As a matter of fact, He’s extremely highly paid and privileged.
If someone puts on their race glasses looking for racism they’ll likely find it. Same for someone looking for adulterers, or alcoholics, or liars... you tend to see what you want to see.
