Why we worried about a coke when they eating a cheeseburger and fries? Jesus people are dumb
Because when it comes to diet and health, we pick a single thing that we think is just evil and then hyperfocus on that and say just that is what is wrong with diet and health. Turns out, all foods are just fine in moderation. Humans are dumb but welcome to planet Earth, it's what we do.

Our options when I was in grade school was white milk, chocolate milk (in a plastic pouch) or water.

One obvious result is that parents will start to buy their kids adult combo meals at a younger age. Leading to overeating earlier than their peers outside of the city.

Coke, Pepsi, mountain dew, etc are just low grade cocaine and a stepping stone to harder drugs.

Welcome to the government running your lives.

More government.

It’s weird how fat fricks are praised for not conforming to ideals of healthiness or beauty yet cities are banning soft drinks.
Also weird that all the murders aren’t a bigger deal in these cities

This rule/law/ordinance is stupid, unenforceable, overstepping.
It makes no sense. No parent who cares about their kid is giving them cola or juice. This law won't change that.
All that said. I respect the city council trying to step in to try and stop ingnorant parents. I hate the government overreach, but I have to acknowledge that no one is dealing with the crippling health issue brought on by ignorance.
I don't agree, but at least they are trying something. I don't have a better suggestion at this time.

The coke is by far the most unhealthy part of this meal.

Replacing it with apple juice does nothing

Why would you do that instead of buy a small coke in addition to your kids meal?

Where did I say it did? Poster I’m responding to said cheeseburgers are the problem in this equation. That’s just false. Sugary drinks are the problem. Cheeseburger and fries with water to drink is a fine lunch for a kid.
