Frick that. I’d rather starve to death than put myself into that sardine can plummeting into the depths of the Earth.

You wouldn’t have lived in a mining town, then.

It’s crazy how dangerous that business was. I’d say at least 30% of those baws in that picture lost their lives trying to provide for their families in that very mine.

You're obviously full of shite, but you seem like the type to suck dick for money instead of hard labor.

I've seen some interviews w/Richard Burton where he expounds poetically on his father's life as a Welsh coal miner, c!aiming his father considered miners the elite of laborers.

Later I saw a documentary on Burton which featured an old man who'd known Burton's father. He claimed it was a hellish life and RB's father hated it.

FWIW Charles Bronson's father was also a coal miner. Bronson was so poor as a child he had to wear his sister's old dresses to school.

It would still look like that today without safety regulations.

Why aren’t those women in the cart? Are those evil men keeping the women from equality?

The Florist in The Town was Pete Postlethwaite, who is one of the greatest actors to ever live.

Steven Spielberg once called him the greatest actor in the world.

It takes a lot of propaganda for anyone to believe that.
