Cleve Dunn openly flouts the law, shows everyone how to get away with it

Hire a lawyer that's a legislator and then get strategic continuances so that the legislative stay can put a hold on everything.
First Circuit blesses outright frickery
His neighbors have been trying to get redress for YEARS and Dunn has been able to thumb his nose at everyone.
Now the whole fricking thing is back to square one.

I like Cleve Dean a whole lot more than Cleve Dunn.

The law should only excuse a legislator if he/she is a party.

We had one do that up in Columbus.
F'ed up and did it on a really brutal domestic violence case. Ticked everyone off and he got beat the next year.

I'm sure Judge Higginbotham is gonna be VERY inclined to overturn his own ruling on the merits now that the case has been sent back.

I have no idea of who any of these parties are or about the merits of the original petition but if you read the opinion it's pretty clear that the appeal had to be granted.

“like Cleve Dean a whole lot more than Cleve Dunn.”
Livy Dunn is better than all them.

I agree, which is the point.

Here is my understanding of it. I may or may not be accurate.
Cleve Dunn is a BR city council member. He built, without required permits, a structure on the edge of his property. this structure caused his neighbors house to flood. He does not want to pay for the damages.

He was a EBR CP Councilman.
He was elected even though he lived outside his district.

The POS doesn’t even live in the district he represents (District 6), but I guess that doesn’t matter to the Metro Council. They let a-hole Lamont Cole do the same thing.

Not that they can’t still sue him, but I think the neighbors that’s sued moved out. The house was up for sale awhile back.

Bitch, please. You can kiss his arse, I'm not. Why does someone's salary dictate a title? What has he done in the education field to deserve the superintendent job? He doesn't "deserve" anything.

Halfway thru reading that entire document, I came to the conclusion the legal system is broke. And broke bad.

Dunn and his attorney Jordan are complete POS. The permit/ inspection office should have enforced their things, but they didn’t.
