way back now, like ten years ago, Joe Rogan used to talk about this with Graham Hancock and another guy, can't remember his name. I was never sure what to believe but it was very entertaining. A lot about ancient migration and trade that isn't accepted by the history community as well. I definitely think there are some major gaps in what we accept as history.

I don't find that surprising. There was likely very little or no outside pressure from other humans that would cause population decreases like the Romans faced.
