And if I finally die in peace
Just wrap my body in these sheets
And pour out the gasoline
It don't mean much to me

Keep my body somewhere fun for 10 days “just in case”, then cremate me and make my kids drink it like chocolate milk.

I think graveyards are a sham. Once you die, your corpse is just there for everyone to forget about. Cremate me, pour the ashes in the ground. It may add some nutrients to the soil. The older I get, the more I don't understand graveyards. Just another money grab.

tree pod burial involves placing a body in a pod beneath a new or existing tree. The idea is that the body will nurture the tree, and that the two will in some respects become one. It is important to distinguish between two forms of tree burial pods.

easier if you have a pre-need policy and things ready to go - they will get to mourn without having to come up with a big chunk of money

When my younger daughter (17 now, no pics) was about 8 or 9 we were watching Return of the Jedi. When it came to Anakin Skywalker’s funeral pyre scene I said man that’s the way I want to go out. She asked me about what was going on and I explained it to her and repeated that I thought it was cool, and I wanted a funeral pyre just like that out in the clearing on our place.

She looked up at me and said “Don’t worry papa when you die I’ll burn you up.” It was awesome.

I intend to hold her to it!

Wife and I are from the same town.

I have a several plots for me and whoever alongside MY old family plot in the city graveyard.

The wife has the same arrangement for us, and the kids if need be, in a country church cemetery.
Don’t really care where I go just throw the dirt over me when I can no longer fog a mirror. I’ll let them decide that.

Why be concerned with such. My In-laws are buried in a Hollar in East Tn. When my wife dies, their graves will probably never be visited again.
My Parents, Grandparents and siblings are buried in North Louisiana. I haven't been to their grave since the day they were buried.
When we are gone its over. One generation past, we are forgotten.

I’m making everybody go to where I grew up to spread my ashes on the side of the road with the rest of the trash.

A if I had to choose. But I’m planning to be cremated and they can dispose of my ashes at the crematory unless my kids want them. I’ll have it paid for. It freaks me out more to think of laying in a grave or in the mausoleum. Nobody ever goes back to visit anyway.

Told my wife to stick me in the ground in the cemetery where her mom's family is interred. It's down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful back there.

Burn the honeysuckle.
