Probably wanted to give his family a better story than being found in a hotel room with a belt around his neck, where everyone would assume it was autoerotic asphyxiation.
Probably. I have not read all of his writings but did see portions of his suicide note on the news.

And the fact that you need millions of dollars to wipe out 50 people with arrows is hilarious

They know where he is. He was doing what he wanted to do when he died and he knew the risks involved. He is like the dead people on Mt. Everest.
He is fine. I doubt he cares if his body is recovered or not. Leave him alone.

You've got to bribe the Indian government first and foremost. They are protecting the island right now and arresting people for going to it. But like everything else in the Middle East, a little bribe money in a few government official's hands can get you access to anything you want. That's most of my budget right there.
You my friend don't understand what an operation like this takes. By the end of it, I'd have that island turned into one hell of a resort. Sparing no expense of course. All those rich Saudi Princes would eat up spending the night in the newly remodeled former temple or orgy room of the Sentinelese.

His suicide note specifically said Do Not try and recover my Body.

You would think that the advances in hang-gliding technology would allow them to send a few down. Once you have summitted, go down a touch, pick up a body, then glide on down to the bottom. WTF?

They aren’t watching it that closely apparently, and getting permission to turn it into a resort would probably be much more than a few million dollars. Rent a decent sized boat and get 10 buddies with guns and take it over for a few thousand dollars. Only worry would be if island is booby trapped.

Will there be cheese trays with a good assortment of crackers? I like extra sharp cheddar and smoked gouda. Also, Can I get one of those drinks that traditionally has a little umbrella in it? I would like mine without the umbrella though. I am scared of losing an eye. I never wanted to be a pirate.

I got booby trapped once. Took me a year to get away from her.

I think you wanted a little adventure and he did it in the name or disguise of Jesus.

Of course. I figured resort and hotel taxes would have to be paid to the Indian government for years to come.

No, I'm not interested in the blood sport and spending the rest of my life in an Indian prison. I'm interested in profiting off of the history associated with the island. A luxury island resort mixed with all those historical ties is a goldmine waiting to happen.

Fly over, at a safe altitude, video, count. Seems simple enough. If we are worried about the risk of disease from a dead white man, drop medicine with pictogram descriptions, if they choose to ignore it, so be it
Your solutions are way too idealistic. The island appears to be covered in trees. How the hell are you supposed to see people underneath a bunch of trees? And just drop pills or syringes and hope these people can read pictures and figure out how to use them?

We will have an assortment of charcuterie boards.

Full bar options will be available via room service to all private villas. If the island is big enough we may even have a moderately priced resort on the far side of the island. The umbrella drinks would be a hit at the moderate resort.

Kind of like the free condom programs here?

Ciao Bella.
Do you think Jesus spends a lot of time scouring Instagram? Also, did Jesus condone this suicide?

No, the “cool” thing to do is pretend like you actually give a frick about these people. For the record I don’t care about this missionary’s death or the backwards frickers that live on that island. 99% of this board couldn’t point to this island on a map but since some Christian was killed there everyone all of the sudden acts like these people are some sort of tribe of noble savages when in reality they are nothing more than a bunch of inbred murderers.
So much wrong with this statement. People don’t care about the people per se but the fact that there’s a group of people who are literally a living relic. They’re what’s we used to be, once that’s wiped out there’s no getting it back. It’s not because muh Christians, it’s because most people desire to preserve something so unique in tact and untarnished. They aren’t murders unless that what they see themselves as, you’re applying your 2018 western world morals to what amounts to a prehistoric group of people.
