Apparently they’ve been known to display their dead. In the 90s they killed a couple of fishermen and speared them up on shore like scarecrows. Many reports from encounters with them say they got a lot of amusement from scaring intruders and hitting them with arrows.
I agree with all who say leave them TF alone.

I understand it’s hip, edgy, and against the grain to say to just go wipe them out. We should just leave them alone, pretty cool to have people like that still here. They aren’t going to harm anyone if you leave them alone. They are stuck on a small arse island. But again, the “cool” thing to say is wipe them out, so if you have to try really hard to sound cool than I understand

No, the “cool” thing to do is pretend like you actually give a frick about these people. For the record I don’t care about this missionary’s death or the backwards frickers that live on that island. 99% of this board couldn’t point to this island on a map but since some Christian was killed there everyone all of the sudden acts like these people are some sort of tribe of noble savages when in reality they are nothing more than a bunch of inbred murderers.

I don’t give a frick about rhinos but that doesn’t mean I want them wiped out. Again, I appreciate you feeling the need to go against the grain but it’s stupid. They’ve been there for almost 60,000 years on a small island, don’t bother them and they won’t bother us. Nobody is pretending anything btw. And me personally, did already know about them, just b/c I’m one of those National Geographic “type” people anyways.

Common sense shows they are ancient people who probably thought the guy was coming to harm them. India has made it illegal to come to that island so they probably go years without seeing other people. It’s a small worthless arse island, don’t go to it and you won’t get an arrow through your chest.
