Circus performer airlifted after arrow strikes him instead of target during Upsate NY fair

A circus performer was airlifted to a hospital after being struck by an arrow during a performance at an Upstate New York fair on July 24.
Edwin A. Cuervo Rangel, 38, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, was injured around 9:30 p.m. when fellow performer Ana B. Daza Tavera, 42, also of Waukesha, Wisconsin, shot an arrow at a foam target he was holding during a show for spectators at the Orange County Fair in Wallkill.
The arrow struck Cuervo Rangel instead of the target.
