I own my own business, work in general from about 11am until about 9:30-10pm 5 days a week and I have absolutely no time to do anything else. At some point you got to ask yourself why are you actually working? working to support a family you can't see, to drive a car you can 't go anywhere in, etc.

I'll do a 60+ hr week every once in a while. I'll take a few days off the books the next week though. I'm paid salary and screw working my life away.

yep, I'm at 1150 hours YTD fml working similar schedule. I go to the gym at 10pm sometimes
ETA: it wont be like this all year. Just experiencing a ridiculous spike in business right now. I normally work 5-10s

I sure hope you dont have a family. Show me where you spend most of your time and I will show you what's most important to you. We're only here a finite amount of time, so hopefully you can find some balance.

No you're not.
Today starts week 16 of 2019. 1150/15 is 76 hours per week. Every week. For 15 weeks.
Why do y'all feel the need to lie?

Rich people buy time.
Poor people sell time.
You get paid to make him money so he doesn't have to work.
Who wouldn't love to have someone producing money over 72 hours a week and getting to proclaim yourself a world changer as you rest on your azz? Nice gig.

I’m a middle school teacher and I regularly work 70 hour weeks just teaching and grading. Don’t even get me started on professional development, which if I added into my work week, it’d easily hit 80 hours a week. That’s all just for summer.

I work for myself and will do hours like that occasionally. I never would expect an employee to do the same. People need time off, I've learned the hard way. You're not helping the people you love by working that much. You have some idea of how much better off everyone will be and have it so much better than you did as a kid, but you're lying to yourself. One day you realize there's an 18 year old and two 13 year olds that you don't really know and a woman that you haven't really, really talked to in 10 years.

If my stubs showed hours worked, I'd post a screenshot for you. At 158 hours for this pay period, had 155 hours the period before that, 159 period before that.
I've worked weekends every week this year. Only taken 2 days off because my PTO was maxed out. This coming weekend will be my first off this year.

I don't understand folks who work their lives away. I mean I get it for some who slave away because that is their only choice to provide for their family. But folks who are just so into their job that they willingly choose that lifestyle is so beyond me.
Money only goes so far, personally. I like spending time at home, doing things I like, being with my family, etc. I can never choose work over my family.

I’d work 8-7 Monday-Thursday.

If China does it, a lot of the world will try it.
