Moving their focus almost exclusively to Science, Engineering, and Business degrees. Huge push on AI training and research.

quote:

China is implementing a sweeping higher education reform, eliminating thousands of outdated degree programs while rapidly expanding offerings in artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. Between 2021 and 2025, over 12,000 undergraduate programs were cut and 10,000 new ones introduced, affecting more than 30% of the country's university courses. This strategic realignment is driven by rising youth unemployment and China's ambition to become a global leader in advanced technologies. Programs in humanities and arts are disproportionately reduced, while fields like AI, robotics, and data science are prioritized to align universities with national industrial goals. This contrasts with financially-driven program cuts often seen in US higher education, as China's government-led initiative aims to address labor market demands and enhance economic competitiveness.

China is putting China first.

I hope our country can pivot as well. We don't need more feminism majors minoring in black sufferage... we need scientists, inventors, thinkers, doctors, doers, engineers and architects...

They won’t have near as many kids to go to college. The future of Asia outside India is aging rapidly.

It's of interest in how a rival's policy may affect American policy, especially in how we finance college. Should we give $400K loans to not-rich 18 year old girls that want a degree in French Poetry from Brown or prioritize that kind of money for profitable majors? It's a needed debate.

What you're missing is they have identified that the ROI on these degrees is worthless. Meanwhile, the US will continue to toss billions of dollars of tuition and fees for retards to get degrees in the same subject matter. So they can get a job at Starbucks.

That's what China is making for us in the form of AI so we can focus on gender inequality studies.

It is a good thing that history never repeats itself so there are no lessons to be learned from history, no chance of screwing something up twice or obtaining success by knowing what has worked throughout history.

China will run shite within a 40 years. We have too many transcommies and RINOs to keep up even though we're smarter.

China has realized the US is vunerable via education. While we're arguing over DEI, chicks with dicks, and phantom racism, they are preparing for the future.

I've long thought much of this splintering and polarization we've seen develop was the result of a wildly successful psyop the Chinese ran on the US. A lot of this stuff came off the West Coast, exhibit every West Coast state, they are all eaten up with it.
