Triple dipper for the win. Once every couple months Chili’s is really solid.

Haven't been to Chili's in probably 15 years. Happy hour Margaritas and Southwestern egg rolls used to be the GOAT in my 20's. Might have to go check them out after Christmas.

Is it still “happy hour every hour?”

I hate chain restaurants. They are in every city and they depend on people being familiar with them. So if you go to a city that's isn't the one closest to you, when you are hungry you see chili's or Apple B's or whatever.. Since there is one closest to you and you have likely ate there then when you see it in another city its the safe bet to go it.

But more people want something other than that basic shite. Like my daddy used to say "I can eat McDonalds at home", so you go to places you don't get to go to when you are in other areas.

I just don't understand going to chains.

People go to Chili’s just to have a good time visit and not spend a fortune. I know that’s why me and some of my buddies go, drink a few beers and eat some decent food for a good price.

A sit-down restaurant at fast-food prices. They're doing it right.

Applebees can be pretty decent too. I tried one for the first time in probably 15 years recently and the ribeye was damn good.

Chili’s was doing just about everything wrong. Its advertising was focused on discounts, biting into profits. That meant it couldn’t invest in modernizing its restaurants, upgrading its menu and keeping its staff happy, leading employees to head for the exits. The slow service and outdated atmosphere frustrated customers.

I feel like these people just make shite up for these articles. What the hell would have made Chili’s have an “outdated atmosphere”?

It's the only thing I ever get. Always on point.
I go to Chili's about once a month. Honestly never realized the chain was struggling...

But it wasn’t. That’s what you clowns really don’t understand. BK’s most talented ND teams were his early teams. Weis was a better recruiter and left BK a more talented roster than BK ever recruited on his own.

Jesus Christ GCS even by your standards this is an absolute disaster of a paragraph.

I’ll echo the sentiments of most in this thread; Chili’s ain’t bad at all for what it is.
