I will take a 3rd option
Waffle House where I can get steak and eggs 24 / 7 / 365 with women closer to my age serving me so we can commiserate about kids on our lawns. Bert's chill is not the best but at least it is consistent from store to store and I can get it with grits and bacon as sides. CFA is great if you want chicken or at least chicken shaped stuff but I think that is to limiting to have a single item based menu.

I think it's ok. The chicken biscuits are good. The fries are shite and everything else is just ok.
Idk, maybe growing up in ATL spoiled me, it's been around since I was a kid. Also would eat it at the LSU union and it was always just meh.

The lemonade & shakes are legit at CFA. The chicken is highly overrated.

Their coffee really does suck. They responded to complaints and changed it and it still sucks. Kind of surprising they can't get that right because they pretty much nail everything else.

Crazy that consumers respond positively to a fast food place that provides good service, when the service consists of listening to someone, telling them the amount and to drive forward, taking their money, and then giving them their food.
Many times i don't feel like eating Chick Fil A, and would love to go through Taco Bell's drive thru, but i could get my food faster and in a more friendlier way from Chick Fil A when there's 15 cars in line, than if there was no line at Taco Bell. No i don't want to drive forward to wait for my fricking food. There's no one behind me.
