Back in the 80s I visited Chicago while in training outside the city in a burb. There were some great areas to visit, beautiful I tell you. Just beautiful. Then I made a few wrong turns and ended up in a terrible ratty section of the city that looked like shite, maybe a war zone. A quick u-turn, heavy foot on the gas pedal and I was out of there. I had real anxiety for those few minutes. Sad.
