Total POS that will fall apart at 75K miles, frick GM !
The people that say this, I wonder how they treat their things? I have owned and run all brands commercially.
The two BEST vehicles I ever had...
2004 1500 Z71- retired at 165,000 and sold to my friend’s kid who drove it to LSU and put another 100,000 on it w/o a problem.
2016 2500HD- 170,000 miles (no shite)- it’s been thru hell and back and hasn’t had a SINGLE issue- I’m talking commonly towing over 14,000 lbs, thigh deep ruts, idling for extended periods, the works.
This week, we’re gonna try them again with a 2020 ZR2 Duramax Colorado- it’s on it’s way from Texas now. I am fully convinced with the right maintenance, it will be as good as the others.
And....I should probably mention....I have a 2002 1500 in my fleet with (gasp) 450,000 miles. No joke, still runs, straight as an arrow, not even a loose POS. It just gets used as a parts runner.
Show me a crappy GM truck, and I’ll show you poor, or non-existent maintenance.

I put nearly 300k miles on a 2007 Yukon 5.7L v8. maintenance free
Also put 200k on their 5.3L V8 Pontiac Grand Prix
I will say GM interior quality needs to catch up though

I like the back with the word “Tahoe” or Suburban” spelled out.
I imagine that a loaded diesel model with the adjustable suspension will probably fetch close to $80k.

Ppl buying won't care. If you can cut a check for $90k for a new Suburban, you're not going to be concerned with it falling apart.
Most people that I know with Suburbans keep them for a very long time and rack up a lot of miles.
It’s the world’s oldest automotive nameplate (85 years) and the formula hasn’t really changed very much. It’s always been a big family hauler with the towing/off road hardware and chassis of a full sized pickup truck. It’s always been a little on the expensive side, but it’s always sold consistently well to both private and fleet buyers even during recessions, world wars, or fuel shortages.
You can complain about some lower end GM cars - but when it comes to higher margin products like their trucks, they’ve been consistently good throughout the years. They seem to know their audience and they get a lot of repeat business.
2 of every 3 full sized SUVs sold are General Motors products. They are the market leader. For the most part, the competitors just respond to them.

Perfect car for tiny women who need to overcompensate for being small.
Lifted station wagons on pickup frames are not sexy.

We had a Tahoe and a Yukon, both of those weren't worth a shite and fell apart at 75K miles. I couldn't sway the wife after the POS Tahoe, she had to have a Yukon. Same shite different emblem. Our Sequoia, and 4Runner, run laps around those pieces of shite.
Sorry you had such luck. We pretty much have the complete opposite experiences. Our Toyota was utter garbage, and we have exclusively switched to GM. Literally nothing wrong at 75k, even 100k. Nothing. The touch screen computery stuff works seemlessly with our phones, etc. Wifey with SUV and I’ve got a Silverado and a Camaro ZL1. Not a damn thing broke on any of them. The damn Toyota stayed in the shop, rough as hell to ride in, no technology whatsoever, but mostly lived at the dealership. Anyway, sorry you had such a sour experience. That’s why they make so many different brands I guess.

You don't own the market building junk.

Can GM buy Tesla already so we can get a fully electric version of the Tahoe/Yukon with autodrive capability?
Screw the 1% aerodynamic boost you get with the Tesla Truck design.

had the same experience.
Sequioia had fuel pump and AC issues
Camry had multiple AC issues and the wheel bearing assembly hubs had to be replaced. I know the wheel bearings are normally changed out at 100K but my Accord ran for 200k without wearing out the bearings. I thought of both Toyota vehicles as subpar especially for an automaker with such a vaunted reputation for "quality"

So many $45,000/year income couples will rush out and lease brand new Tahoe LTZs it will make your head spin. Gotta be the first on the block.

I've quite literally never understood the amount of money people pay for the fully-loaded Tahoes.
For $20K less you could get a certified, pre-owned Range Rover. It drives better, looks nicer, and despite higher maintenance costs, will drive well past 200K miles.
It boggles my mind how some people afford stuff. Is everyone just leveraged up to their eye-balls? Are people not saving money?

Most people would have a problem paying 10K for a tranny.
There's a reason most Eurolux rides have horrendous resale.

Maintenance costs and longevity advantage definitely go to the Tahoe.
Range Rover definitely drives well, but that's not a car I'd want to own long term.

The Cybertruck looks like a door stop. Not a big fan. I still think Musk is playing a joke on us.

My daddy (yes he is a lawyer) said he would buy me one. My fraternity brothers are going to be so jealous.
