Classrooms on three of the four floors occupied by IBM show historical timelines on the wall. They are where O'Quinn and other managers train new hires, she said.

IBM's break rooms feature the word "Think" in multiple languages, reflecting the company's international business model, O'Quinn said. Founder Thomas J. Watson, Sr. is known well for saying, "All the problems of the world could be settled easily if men were only willing to think."

Standing between two huge cubicle pods and the break rooms, which are each on opposite sides of each floor, are large walls showing IBM's three other main mottos in multiple languages: Dedication to every client is success; Trust and personal responsibility in all relationships; and Innovation that matters for our company and for the world.

The Mississippi Room on the fourth floor overlooks the Mississippi River and is where staff conducts trainings and meetings. The seventh-floor Capital Conference Room shows clear views of the Mississippi River and faces the Louisiana State Capitol.

Also on the fourth floor is an outdoor terrace, which will open later in September, and IBM's Mobility Center. "That's where IBM'ers from all over can come, plug in and work," O'Quinn says.
