Shame, Charlotte is known as a pretty nice city, but I guess if you’re of a certain composition or demographic, you can get away with anything.

Would you go after the judge or this subhuman bitch? I’ll need to read up on how a punishment this lax is even possible. But if it’s the judge’s doing, Q’Laundra Kadri Hood might luck out.

It was pled down to "Death by Vehicle" instead of Involuntary Manslaughter. As for the felony hit and run, maybe some time served, because even it has a minimum sentence greater than thirty days.
If you're choosing, you need to throw the piece of shite DA in the mix and hope you can swing the hat trick.
