Change my way of thinking

Every Monday morning, when my feet hit the ground, I think to myself, this is the worst of it. Like a prisoner, I countdown the days till Friday. Needless to say, I’m not too thrilled about my line of work, the clients, and, at times, the people I work for.
I know I should be grateful for the work and opportunity, but it’s tough at times. That said, any suggestions to change my thoughts?

Then do something about it.
No one is just going to hand you your dream job or even a job you like better than your current one.
You have to do it. No one can brainwash you into liking your job if you don't already.

Look at it as you get to go to work not you have to go to work.
There are many unable to work due to physical or mental reasons that would want to actually work and be productive.

Change what you are doing. Seriously life is to short and we spend to much time working to not enjoy it.

I think this is the case for 90% of the population.

My wife and I always get fajitas and margaritas on Monday. Gives us something to look forward to.

I have a lot of flexibility in my job so I like to set up my Mondays to be a short day. That way it isn’t as dreadful as it should be and I leave early.

been in my profession ever since I graduated from LSU, been with my company for 36 years, I have never once considered it just a job and dreaded going to work, in fact I look forward to going to "work," sure, I like my time off but I always look forward to going to work

Find a new job or go back to school to find a new career. That’s what I did. Couldn’t be happier at work.
