I think a compelling case can be made she was simply trying to drive away and was not trying to harm anyone. That doesn’t mean the officer didn’t feel his life was in danger with the way it went down. The officer remains bitch made for pulling the trigger. He was not in harms way. He was actually, and literally, not in the way at all. He’s your typical ex military, gun loving, don’t know how to deal with PTSD hot head that is likely to pull the trigger when it wasn’t necessary

Not in the way but still manages to get hit.

Once again. Intention doesn’t matter. I think it’s pretty obvious she was trying to escape getting arrested. Doesn’t change the fact she hit him.

These myopic viewpoints from IT techs in Boulder, CO that understand the hearts and minds of people they never met is astounding.

Contrast that with how I show you evidence from video, stillshots of faces and eyes, hard facts, and all the refuting that comes from over there in the Rockies is completely subjective hearsay based on nothing but feeling and conjecture, with a healthy dose of libel and slander.

Yes, you would indeed accelerate when trying to leave

Alright, yeah that makes sense, one would only accelerate at a high rate to kill someone, but definitely not to make an escape. That’s just dumb, bro

Attempting to run over a federal officer isn’t such a good look either.

Go watch the video of a recent officer involved shooting where a guy pulled a gun and the officers life was very obviously in danger. His reaction to killing someone was night and day different and he was effectively in a shoot out

It’s a weird thing but there’s not a single script for reacting to these incidents.

As it turns out when adrenaline floods your body like that you have varying emotional reactions

with an ICE officer standing 3 feet in front of you, who you lock eyes with as you hammer the gas pedal?

To say the rate of acceleration would indicate escape vs attempted murder attempt is the worst argument of all these largely bad takes from both sides. You are smarter than this, and can provide better substance

Use angle of the wheels, etc. the acceleration part ain’t it

Deflect more.

I guess when you're surrounded by computers and other nerds all day, your insults tend to be more tech-related.

The irony there was that in itself was deflection and lacked anything close to substance
