Very well put.

Politics doesn't work on me, however. People who have too much emotional attachment to politics and find their sense of identity in politics all have at least several screws loose.

Emotionally weak people.

While I’m not celebrating it, I can assure you I won’t lose one minute of sleep over it.

That's never stopped a dedicated virtue signaler from virtue signaling.

I tend to agree with the OP. We can believe in the essential truth of FAFO and the absolute failure of the mental illness that is Progressive virtue signaling, but we also have to retain our humanity. And she was someone’s daughter.

I mean Christianity 101, right? We are called on to live it.

That said FAFO is basically just an acknowledgement of human nature. Consequences are real and people like this woman are cautionary tales.

Obsession with politics is the fastest growing mental illness in this country. Many are too far along to be saved. Really is a damn shame.

Tribalism run amok. There’s something wrong in America today.

Tribalism can be a good thing. Tribalism is identifying people who help and support you and identifying people who are trying to destroy you.

Tribalism is the whole reason we have separate countries to begin with.

The idea you can have people of all religions, all ethnicities, and all value systems all living in the one place is a f'ing stupid arse idea. It's every bit as stupida s tryign to put all the animals in the zoo in a single pen together.

"segregation" for lack of a better word, is the most peaceful way for incompatible people to co-exist together, which is why we have all those imaginary lines on the map.

The idea that everyone can just go everywhere and live together peacefully is a fairy tale invented the last 50 years.

Same people that were (rightfully) outraged with Charlie Kirk are now celebrating this.

Who? I see people defending the officer’s actions and/or saying the woman put herself in the situation by illegally obstructing law enforcement (or illegally blocking traffic) forcing law enforcement intervention and then regardless of whether on purpose or not quickly accelerated her car at an officer making contact with him just as first shot was fired.

Also, the comparison is false. What law enforcement was involved enforcing the law and ended up shooting Kirk? And what law was Kirk breaking just before attempting to evade being detained by that law enforcement and what danger did Kirk put any officer in?

Your point would be more valid if this lady was doing nothing illegal/obstructing and was just standing in a public area holding up a sign protesting ICE or saying negative things about them, and a supporter of ICE walked up and murdered her for communicating her views in public.

If Dems are really equating these two situations as the same they have learned nothing.

If you believe it was justifiable, that’s one thing. If you are celebrating, you should have your freedoms revoked and put in a god damn looney bin.
Yet I bet the far majority are simply stating the shooting was justified and/or that she put herself in situation by breaking the law and then trying to avoid consequences of her decision, but you still felt the need to start this thread.

Or, was this just some lame attempt to equate and therefore minimize the left’s celebratory reaction of Kirk’s murder by a trans supporting/loving leftist to anyone supporting the law enforcement actions in the shooting of someone breaking the law and then fleeing in her vehicle with a law enforcement officer at her door with arm in the open window and another law enforcement officer approaching right in front of her fleeing vehicle?

Agreed. People are out there encouraging the type of behavior that got this chick shot. They're so blinded by their distorted view of some fairytale utopia that they don't foresee the consequences of running their vehicle into a wad of federal officers. A shame indeed.

This isn’t addressing your post. You are just the last person that posted. But some here have tried to bring Charlie Kirk into this conversation as some kind of comparison?

Where does that kind of lunacy compare to a law enforcement officer defending both himself and the community?
